Convergence Company's CEO Selected to Leadership of Wireless Industry Association
ACTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/07/10 -- Tatara Systems, the leader in SIP-based femtocell convergence, today announced that its president and CEO, E.Y. Snowden, has been re-elected to the Board of Directors for CTIA-The Wireless Association for the 2011 term. On the CTIA Board, Snowden will continue in his role of providing guidance and leadership in support of the association's activities and initiatives. CTIA is a Washington, D.C.-based international industry trade group representing all wireless communication sectors including cellular, personal communication services and enhanced specialized mobile radio. As Tatara's president, this will be Snowden's second consecutive term, having served on the CTIA Board and the Executive Committee for 2010. Selection to the CTIA Board is determined annually via a nomination and election process among all member companies in the association. A long-time supporter of CTIA, Snowden served three prior consecutive terms from 2005 to 2007 as a director and member of the Executive Committee of its Board in his previous executive capacity with Boston Communications Group, Inc.
